Changelog

This section provides an overview of Changelog.

Welcome to the Changelog section. Here, you'll find all the latest features, bug fixes, and modifications we make to Tixert.

v0.10.1 - 2026-06-03 - Google Pay, wallet passes, and add-to-calendar

Added

  • Google Pay at checkout. Attendees can now pay with Google Pay (alongside cards) directly in the checkout panel, for a faster, one-tap purchase.
  • Add to calendar everywhere. Attendees can add an event to their calendar from the event page, the order page, the ticket page, and their order confirmation email. Single-event order emails now include Google/Outlook buttons and an attached calendar invite, so mail clients can show their native "add to calendar" card. Add-to-calendar is showtime-aware: when an event has showtimes, the calendar entry uses the specific showtime's date and time rather than the parent event's.
  • Order confirmation email notes. Organizers can add extra details (such as parking or entry instructions) on the event settings page that appear on the order confirmation email. The note is shown once per event, so duplicate tickets don't repeat it, and occurrences inherit the parent event's note unless overridden.
  • Add to Google Wallet from the ticket page. Ticket owners and shared recipients can now add a pass to their wallet directly from the ticket's actions.
  • Database outage screen. If the platform's database is ever unreachable, attendees and organizers now see a friendly full-screen "we'll be back shortly" message instead of an error, and the page automatically recovers once service is restored.

Changed

  • Redesigned order confirmation emails. Order emails now use a consistent set of bordered cards with thumbnails for each ticket and donation, a clear "Total paid" summary, and a cleaner, lighter template. Each purchased ticket links directly to its ticket page, the order number is shown once, and tickets are grouped by organizer with a single follow prompt per organizer.
  • Improved wallet passes. Google Wallet passes now show the event's local time (so a 4pm event no longer displays in the wrong timezone) and use the organizer's logo, falling back to the Tixert icon.
  • Donations now show on the event page whenever donations exist, independent of whether the event has tickets.
  • Publishing readiness is now enforced everywhere. An event must have a featured image (and a complete venue for in-person events) to be published, regardless of how the organizer chooses to publish it.
  • Disabled form inputs now share a single consistent faded style across the app, and ended events show "Finished" instead of "Published".
  • QR codes on tickets are now larger on phones for easier scanning.

Fixed

  • Republishing an event no longer crashes when social-post jobs already exist.
  • Order confirmation emails reliably resolve the full venue address and queue correctly.
  • The order page now resets scroll to the top when opened.

v0.10.0 - 2026-05-23 - Recurring events & showtimes

Added

  • Recurring events. Organizers can now set an event to repeat on a schedule (daily, weekly, or monthly) instead of recreating it each time. Each occurrence can be edited on its own, or changes can be applied to "this and all future occurrences", giving organizers full control over a series without affecting dates that have already happened.
  • Showtimes. A single event can now have multiple showtimes, each with its own date and time. Tickets, sections, discounts, donations, and holds can all be managed per showtime, and inherit from the parent event by default so organizers only have to override what's different.
  • Calendar view on the organization dashboard. Organizers can now see all of their events laid out on a calendar, with recurring events clearly marked. Clicking a day lets you create a new event right from the calendar.
  • Improved organization dashboard to illustrate kpi's across multiple events, and show upcoming events in a more visually appealing way.
  • Follower dashboard. Organizations now have a dedicated dashboard for their followers, and followers receive notifications about the organizations they follow.
  • Account page. Attendees now have a single account page showing their tickets, events, orders, donations, and points, plus a dedicated tickets view to quickly find what they've purchased.
  • Revamped search. The search bar has been redesigned and can now be opened from anywhere with Ctrl+K. Search now also surfaces recurring events.
  • Hidden items. Organizers can now hide specific tickets, sections, and donations on an event, giving more control over what attendees see.
  • Flexible ticket sale windows. Ticket sale start and end times can now be scheduled relative to a recurring event's occurrence, rather than only using fixed dates.

Changed

  • Improved event creation layout with a modern side navigation that now shows who owns the event.
  • New calendar date input component. Date pickers can now be typed into directly and auto-fill as you go, making it faster to set dates throughout the app.
  • Seatmaps can now be edited from multiple browsers at once, so collaborators can work on the same seatmap together and see each other's changes.

Fixed

  • Seatmaps work properly on mobile, including tap-to-drag.
  • Exports now include showtime times and hold emails, and format special characters correctly.
  • Resolved a pagination issue on the events page and a redirect loop on the organizations page.
  • Numerous calendar improvements, including responsive sizing and dark mode.

Changed
