Tixert website launch!

Introduction

We're excited to announce that the Tixert website is officially live in beta! This is a huge milestone for us, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share it with you. As two lifelong friends who’ve been involved in the events industry, this platform was built out of a need for something better—something that caters to both promoters and fans. Let’s take you behind the scenes and share why we built Tixert, what it means to us, and what you can expect from our beta launch.

From friends to founders

Tixert was born out of necessity. Back in 2020, like many others, we were navigating the uncertainties of COVID, and to keep the community alive, we started hosting events in our hometown of Barrie—comedy shows, live music, and more. We quickly became the go-to spot for a good time.

But as our events grew, so did our frustration with traditional ticketing platforms. They didn’t offer the flexibility we needed, nor did they fully understand the needs of promoters or the excitement fans seek. We wanted something more intuitive, something that made the ticketing process feel just as exciting as the event itself.

Turning frustration into innovation

Being avid event lovers and programmers, we took matters into our own hands. In 2022, we started LiveBarrie, a small events company, but it soon became clear—we were onto something bigger. Our passion for events and tech collided, and that's when Tixert was born.

We stumbled upon the name "Tixert" and, to our surprise, it was available. From there, it felt like destiny. Tixert isn’t just another ticketing platform—it’s our way of shaking up the industry and doing things our way.

Our mission

Our mission is simple: to make ticketing easier, smarter, and more fun—for both promoters and fans. Whether you're hosting a small local event or managing a large concert, Tixert was built to support you. We want to take the hassle out of event management and allow creators to focus on what they do best—creating unforgettable experiences.

As part of our beta launch, we’ve rolled out the core features of Tixert:

  • User-friendly event creation: Easy-to-use tools for promoters to set up and manage events.
  • Ticket Sections: Organize tickets by sections for better control.
  • Collaboration: Work together with other event creators to bring your vision to life.
  • Purchase System: Both guests and registered users can buy tickets with ease.

This is just the beginning. Our platform is designed to grow with you, and we’re committed to making it better with every update.

Why beta?

Launching in beta means we’re in the process of testing, improving, and fine-tuning Tixert based on real user feedback.
