Whether someone can't make it to your event but wants to contribute, or you're raising funds for a cause, donations provide a flexible way to support events beyond traditional ticket sales.

Support events even when you can't attend

Life happens. Sometimes people want to support an event or cause but can't attend in person. With Tixert's donation feature, organizers can now offer a meaningful way for supporters to contribute:

  • Contribute to events without purchasing a ticket: Supporters can donate any amount to help fund an event, even if they're unable to attend.
  • Support causes directly: Perfect for charity events, fundraisers, or community initiatives where the goal extends beyond ticket sales.
  • Suggested donation amounts: Organizers can specify suggested amounts to guide donors, while still allowing custom contributions.

Donations appear directly on the event page alongside tickets, making it easy for attendees and supporters to see all the ways they can contribute.

Shareable donation pages

We've made it incredibly easy to promote donations. Every donation option comes with its own shareable link, allowing organizers to:

  • Share donation links on social media, email campaigns, or anywhere else.
  • Drive contributions directly to the donation page without requiring users to navigate through the full event.
  • Promote causes and fundraising efforts with a dedicated URL.

Donations are also prominently displayed on the event page itself, ensuring visibility for anyone browsing the event details.

Comprehensive donation tracking and analytics

Organizers need insights into how donations are performing. That's why we've built robust tracking and analytics directly into the platform:

  • View donation stats in real-time: See total donations, number of contributors, and average donation amounts at a glance.
  • Expanded event dashboard metrics: We've greatly enhanced the event dashboard to include donation data alongside ticket sales, revenue, and other key metrics.
  • Export donation data: Organizers can export detailed donation information for their records, tax purposes, or further analysis.

All donation data is properly included in event exports, ensuring that organizers have complete visibility into all revenue streams.
